Randolph N. Reynolds, Jr. is the Founding Partner of Reynolds Development Company, a private real estate investment and development firm based in Richmond, Virginia. Since co-founding the company in 2001, he has led the development and management of major commercial real estate assets, including Reynolds Crossing—a 685,000-square-foot mixed-use complex featuring Class A office space, medical office buildings, and a full-service Westin Hotel.

A member of the legendary Reynolds family that founded Reynolds Metals Company—one of the world’s leading aluminum producers and a publicly traded industrial giant later acquired by Alcoa—Mr. Reynolds has continued the family's entrepreneurial and industrial legacy. He began his career in international metals trading at Marc Rich & Co AG in Zug, Switzerland, before returning to the U.S. to manage development projects with Reynolds Metals Development Company. He went on to hold senior roles within Reynolds Metals Company’s Construction Products and Bauxite & Alumina Divisions, where he led global export operations and managed key accounts across Asia and Europe. He also co-founded OnlineAluminum.com, which later merged with Aluminium.com in New York.

Mr. Reynolds was appointed in 2024 by the Governor of Virginia to the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he serves on four committees, including Facilities and Real Estate and Finance and University Resources. He is also a board member of Blue Ridge Bank (NASDAQ: BRBS), where he chairs the Wealth Group and serves on the Compensation and Governance Committees. His extensive banking experience includes prior board and committee service with Virginia Commonwealth Bank, Bank of Lancaster, and Bay Banks, Inc., across areas such as lending, investments, IT, ESOP, and executive compensation.
An active civic leader, Mr. Reynolds has served on the boards of Collegiate School, the College of William & Mary Real Estate Foundation, and the Richmond Community Board, where he was the founding chairman. He serves as Vice President of the Henrico County Police Foundation Board. He has chaired major philanthropic events, including the VCU Health Trauma Violence Prevention Ball and the Boy Scouts Gala in Richmond. A graduate of LEAD Virginia and the University of Richmond’s Mini MBA program, he also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from GE Lighting.

Born in Madrid, Spain, and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Mr. Reynolds earned a B.A. in Economics from the College of William & Mary. He is married to Mary Clay Caperton and is the father of four sons.
